Dear members,
Following an exciting year 2016 we are looking forward to a series of events (co-)organized by Arb|Aut in 2017.
1. Vienna Arbitration Days 2017 - almost sold out
The Vienna Arbitration Days will already be held next week on
24-25 February 2017.
About 250 practitioners from 30 jurisdictions have registered so far for the 10th Vienna Arbitration Days.
The
academic program of our anniversary conference includes
– A keynote speech held by current
ICCA president Donald Francis Donovan
– 14 equally renowned practitioners who share their insights as
counsel, meber of an institution or party within Friday's panel discussions
– Saturday's
World Café Session which allows you to participate in
3 out of 14 discussion rounds with international practitioners on hot topics related to Friday's panels
If the schedule of the House of Lords permits, Lord Peter Goldsmith QC will give us a luncheon note on recent developments.
The
social program is likewise remarkable as it not only gives you plenty of
networking opportunities, but also includes a visit to one of
Vienna's world famous balls in the Imperial Palace (Juristenball, Hofburg).
Please

There is only a
very limited number of tickets left. If you have not registered for the conference yet, we recommend to save one of the last tickets as soon as possible via
online registration.
2. Save the dates:
We are excited to announce that this year's Bergsten Lecture will be held by
Cherie Blair, CBE, QC, who will discuss the topic
"Wikileaks & Beyond:
Admissibility of Improperly Obtained Evidence in International Arbitration"
The lecture takes place on
Sunday, 9 April 2017 from 15.00 to 18.00 hrs
at "Sallinger-Saal", Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (AFEC)
Wiedner Hauptstraße 63, 1040 Vienna, Austria
and will be followed by a
Sky Lounge reception hosted by Arb|Aut.
A more detailed invitation including the possibility for online registration will follow shortly.
Due to the success of the Arb|Aut Forum in its founding year of 2016, Arb|Aut decided to continue with this event series.
Please save the date for the third Arb|Aut Forum jointly organized together with the University of Vienna which will take place
on 22 May 2017
at the "Dachgeschoss" of the Faculty of Law.
Kind regards
Christian Klausegger
(Arb|Aut President)
